NEW DEVELOPMENT IN GIS

Bowlts have been using GIS (Geographical Information Systems or digital mapping), for a number of years, producing high quality maps and plans to support its core business including estate management, forestry and planning. We are now branching out to offer GIS services directly to clients from creation and management of data, to complex data analysis and high quality presentational output.

Our investment in webGIS means that we can not only provide hard copy output, but clients can login to our interactive mapping system to access their data from anywhere in the world.

Built using industry standard ESRI ArcGIS software and Latitude Geocortex Essentials, our web based mapping system allows users to view and control layers of map data, search and query information and open linked documents, photos or other information.

Our webGIS is also ideal for collaborative working, whereby up-to-date, centrally held data can be accessed by multiple parties, across any size of project.

RURAL PRACTICE CHARTERED SURVEYOR AND TRAINEE CHARTERED SURVEYOR POSITIONS

Due to an increasing workload, we are looking to expand our rural practice department. Our office is based at Pluscarden, near Elgin, Moray. We currently have a staff of 15 and our core activity is property consultancy and rural estate management.

We are currently accepting applications for both a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor as well as a Trainee Chartered Surveyor.

The successful applicants will join our rural practice team, which consists of four fully qualified land agents. Both positions are full-time, working Monday to Friday, and salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
