Robert Gordon University (RGU) has been working with the libraries and the Castle to Cathedral to Cashmere partnership and have just recently launched a project ‘Bring your own heritage’ to investigate how libraries can harness new technology to enhance community heritage projects. They have selected Elgin to host three workshops over the coming months with the first one planned for Saturday 29thNovember and please find attached the details.  The Community 3D high definition laser scanning workshop will also act as a pilot for the Castle to Cathedral to Cashmere Heritage Experience to inform the planned work, which will result in valuable architectural & archaeological data, inform interpretation, restoration, apps and developing gaming.

RURAL PRACTICE CHARTERED SURVEYOR AND TRAINEE CHARTERED SURVEYOR POSITIONS

Due to an increasing workload, we are looking to expand our rural practice department. Our office is based at Pluscarden, near Elgin, Moray. We currently have a staff of 15 and our core activity is property consultancy and rural estate management.

We are currently accepting applications for both a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor as well as a Trainee Chartered Surveyor.

The successful applicants will join our rural practice team, which consists of four fully qualified land agents. Both positions are full-time, working Monday to Friday, and salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
